Mr. Bara has over twenty-five years of experience in Medicare, with an emphasis on Medicare Cost Reports and reimbursement issues. Prior to joining Health Management Associates, Mr. Bara worked for the Health Care Service Corporation as the Senior Manager of Provider Reimbursement and Audit for Medicare in Michigan. In this capacity, he was responsible for the review, audit, and settlement of Medicare Cost Reports, setting of Medicare interim payment rates, and the implementation of Medicare policies and procedures.
