Elaine Peters has over 30 years experience in health and human services including Medicaid and other government-financed health care programs with an emphasis on legislation, budgeting, and data analysis. Prior to joining HMA, Ms. Peters was the Staff Director for the Florida Senate Health and Human Services Appropriations Committee where she was responsible for overseeing the $26 billion appropriations and conforming legislation for health and human services agencies. Ms. Peters is a graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Business Administration and a major in Marketing.
