Ms. Evert is a former senior state official with over twenty years of experience in health policy, program development, government relations, and marketing. At Health Management Associates, she assists clients with program design, implementation and evaluation, and works with state agencies, private organizations, and foundations. Additionally, Ms. Evert is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the firm and its activities, including project management, proposal and business development, client contracting, and staffing. Prior to joining HMA, she was with Florida's Agency for Health Care Administration, where she was responsible for all legislative, communications, consumer assistance, and consumer information activities, and served as the Chairman of the Florida Health Insurance Survey Policy Oversight Committee and Vice Chairman of the Orlando Community Health Improvement Coalition.
