Richard (Rick) Hamilton has over 25 years experience in health finance, data management, multi-constituency problem resolution and action, and board and community liaison. He has served in association/health care management; board-level and community-level strategy development and consensus building, membership product development, implementation and operation; and tactical execution of multi-disciplinary teams initiating/defending public policy positions at state and national levels.   He has developed leadership for hospitals ranging from academic to community-based, inner city to rural, stand alone to multi-hospital systems. Rick holds a Ph.D. in Industrial & Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan and has done Post-Doctoral work in Health Services Administration at U of M as well. Prior to joining HMA, he worked for the Illinois Hospital Association, the Michigan Hospital Association, and Rush-Presbyterian-St. Lukes Medical Center in Chicago.
