Brenda Klütz has 30 years of experience in both the legislative and executive branches of California state government. Ms. Klütz served as the Deputy Director/Assistant Deputy Director of the California Department of Health Services’ Licensing and Certification Program for 15 years. In this capacity, Ms. Klütz was responsible for the state licensure and federal certification of health facilities and agencies, as well as the regulation of certain healthcare professionals. Ms. Klütz also served as the Principal Consultant to the California State Senate Subcommittee on Aging and Long-term Care and the Assembly Aging and Long-term Care Committee.
