On August 20-21, HMA’s Austin, Texas-based consultants organized a State Innovation Models (SIM) conference for 200 stakeholders in Austin to present and discuss potential approaches and models under consideration for the State Healthcare Innovation Plan. HMA is helping Texas conduct stakeholder engagement and develop its plan. Texas will submit its plan to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) before the end of the year.
HMA’s Linda Wertz, managing principal, Principals Dianne Longley and Lisa Duchon, and Senior Consultant Glenda Stepchinski served as program speakers and panel moderators. Dr. Art Jones, a principal from HMA’s Chicago office, presented “Building the Bridge from Fee-for-Service to Accountable Care” at the conference.
HMA knows health care reform – and is helping clients across the country navigate this new terrain. Our colleagues are the best of the best – see what they have to offer.
