David Jamieson is a longtime consultant and seasoned project manager. He has served public universities, health centers and health departments by providing training and expertise in practice quality and retention as well as training in complex care management.
A former independent consultant, David has worked with clients including the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services, where he led nursing education and practice retention programs as well as provided assessment and evaluation for programs. He has also worked with university clients providing nursing education leadership and grant procurement, as well as a variety of foundations, health centers and clinics to secure grant funding and assist with program deployment.
His work has focused on underserved populations, health disparities, patient centered medical homes, complex care management, workforce development and behavioral health integration into primary care, providing direct services to clients.
David’s continued work in projects ranging from nursing and nurse education to behavioral health integration show his true ability to fit into projects and fill in gaps where system building and improvement are most needed.
A focused writer, strategic thinker and flexible partner, David earned a bachelor’s degree in rhetoric from the University of California, Berkley.
