Dinesh Manandhar is a results-driven computer engineer with a particular focus in data science, artificial intelligence technology, and healthcare. 

Prior to joining HMA, Dinesh was the information technology managing consultant with NTT Data. In this role, he was responsible for New Hampshire’s Transformed Medicaid Statistical Information System (T-MSIS) project and served as a liaison for New Hampshire (NH) and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) T-MSIS data quality and compliance calls. He performed data gathering, extraction, manipulation, cleaning, and analysis for Medicaid data. As a T-MSIS SME,  he worked closely with the State Medicaid Directors, State IT Directors, and other State SMEs. He processed claims, encounters, eligibility, provider, managed care, and third-party liability data to identify trends and errors. Dinesh also identified irregularities in data and utilized database tools to create queries and conducted root cause analysis on errors to provide resolutions. He was actively involved in system design, analysis, creation, and execution of test scenarios by reviewing all functional specifications, detailed design documents, data model, data flow diagrams, and architecture. Apart from T-MSIS, Dinesh played a key role in other NH MMIS projects such as Provider Revalidation, Social Security Number Removal Initiative (SSNRI), and MMIS Interfaces 

Dinesh also worked as a senior business analyst and UAT tester for the NH MMIS project before leading the T-MSIS project. In this role, he supported the State by conducting end-to-end testing including User Acceptance Testing, regression testing, and Integration testing in Medicaid Management Information Systems MMIS and provided expertise on MMIS and CMS requirements. 

In his previous roles, Dinesh was a quality assurance analyst and user acceptance test (UAT) tester with Global Systems, LLC, a dental specialist (68-E) in the United States Army Reserve, an assistant program manager with Prism Energy Services, and a lab and research assistant at Eastern Nazarene College. 

Dinesh earned a Master of Science in information technology with a concentration in healthcare informatics from Southern New Hampshire University, a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Eastern Nazarene College and an associate’s degree in computer science from Quincy College.
