Janine Stuart leverages her knowledge of the healthcare landscape and direct operational experience to provide investment firms with information critical to evaluating healthcare transactions.
She analyzes legislative, regulatory and other forces impacting the healthcare marketplace and tracks industry trends relevant to publicly funded healthcare programs. A skilled project and relationship manager, she can help clients navigate the process as they assess acquisitions, new markets and other strategic initiatives.
Janine joined HMA after serving as senior vice president of advisory services for a healthcare-focused advisory and consulting firm, where she provided due diligence advice and consulting services to financial institutions investing in healthcare companies and healthcare corporations contemplating mergers or acquisitions. Janine also previously served as a financial administrator at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University/New York-Presbyterian Hospital, where she was responsible for operations including financial, research and clinical activities.
In addition to these roles, Janine was also a senior team member that helped launch a New York City-based healthcare philanthropic organization where she provided project and relationship management for grant activities as well as strategic planning support.
Janine received her Master of Public Administration in health policy and management from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and her bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from the University of Maryland, Robert H. Smith School of Business, College Park, MD.
