Karen Duncan is an experienced physician executive with a track record of leading teams to create and implement systems that increase efficiencies and improve health outcomes.
With more than 20 years in the healthcare arena, Karen has experience in a variety of roles – administrative, educational and clinical. She has vast expertise in the areas of clinical and quality performance and outcomes, Patient Centered Medical Home certification, and electronic health record proficiency and implementation.
Karen has experienced great success improving efficiencies, enhancing productivity, and improving the customer experience in ambulatory and primary care settings – all while achieving improved financial performance. She is well-positioned as a physician and administrator to facilitate alignment among physician groups and between physicians and administration.
She is a fellow with the American Academy of Pediatrics and member of the American College of Physician Executives.
Karen received her MD from Emory University School of Medicine. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in biochemistry at Smith College and recently completed the Executive MBA Program at Georgia State University.
Karen enjoys Ohio State football, reading, and spending time with her family.
