Kelly Vermandere is a healthcare analytics consultant who is passionate about improving population health and reducing health disparities.
In her role with The Moran Company, an HMA Company, Kelly supports the analytics necessary to provide sound strategic policy advice on reimbursement systems used by Medicare, Medicaid, and the private sector.
Kelly is skilled in data management, data collection and analysis, quantitative and qualitative research, grant writing and proposal development, project management, data visualization, and research presentation and publication. Kelly also has research experience within a wide variety of topics, including infectious diseases, maternal and child health, health equity, cancer epidemiology, clinical trials, environmental health, health communication, and biomedical research.
Prior to joining HMA, Kelly was a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)/Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE) fellow at the Georgia Department of Public Health. She was involved in public health efforts in response to the COVID-19 pandemic in Georgia, including disease prevention and community mitigation, healthcare facility preparedness, and surveillance and outbreak response. She gained valuable experiences through internships at the CDC, the University of Michigan Biomedical Science Research Building, and Emory University.
Kelly earned a Master of Public Health in epidemiology from Emory University and a Bachelor of Science in biomolecular science from the University of Michigan.
