A financial executive with more than two decades of experience in healthcare operations, Kevin Riley is a former chief financial officer (CFO) who has led financial operations for health systems, hospitals, and national consulting firms.
He has delivered strategic financial and operational value within academic, community, and rural-based health systems and joins HMA after serving as CFO with St. Luke’s Hospital and Physician Group.
Kevin has diverse experience that combines industry and consulting knowledge with financial and operational expertise to drive results in fee-for-service and value-based revenue models. He has achieved consistent performance in growing revenue and guiding operational improvements in revenue cycle, managed care, and expense management.
He also previously served as vice president of finance for Mercy Health and in management positions with two national consulting firms, KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers. His expertise also includes mergers and acquisitions, revenue cycle, managed care, treasury debt and risk management, and systems conversion.
Kevin earned a Master of Business Administration at Xavier University and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Saint Joseph University. He is a Certified Public Accountant, a fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and holds several other certifications from the HFMA.
