Ned Lederer is driven by a passion for providing leaders with conceptual frameworks and practical guidance to achieve systemic change He has a wide variety of experience working with regional nonprofit organizations and public agencies in areas such as public health, child development, and behavioral health.
Before joining HMA, Ned worked for NPO Solutions – now a division of HMA Community Strategies – where he focused on leadership coaching and strategy development for the nonprofit and public sectors. His work guided public and nonprofit organizations and coalitions through periods of change management, and he facilitated multiple strategic restructuring processes for regional nonprofits to help promote sustainability.
Additionally, he previously consulted for the State of Massachusetts Department of Revenue along with international organizations in Brazil and Vietnam. He also completed a three-year term in the Peace Corps in Mongolia where he co-chaired a nationwide reproductive health task force and worked with local organizations to promote evidence-based public policy.
He earned a Master of Public Policy from Harvard University, and an undergraduate degree from Stanford University.
