Sandra Sperry is a senior healthcare executive with more than 20 years of diverse experiences in hospital operations, financial management, compliance and regulatory affairs, clinical integration, business development, and infrastructure planning and design. She has held corporate and executive positions in large systems and single site hospitals ranging from academic research hospitals to community based teaching hospitals.

The focus of her work is to build and enhance core competencies while developing the infrastructure to support evidenced based, knowledge driven organizations within the framework of rapid cycle change management.

In the roles of executive vice president (EVP), chief operating officer (COO) and chief nursing officer (CNO), she has a proven track record in re-engineering, effectiveness and efficiency as well as the development of physician and community partnerships. Her consulting and executive experience includes strategic planning, governance and executive coaching, productivity analysis, compliance management and response to external regulatory deficits, and executive interim roles as President/EVP, COO and CNO.

Sandra is an expert in case management systems, disease management, and integration of clinical and financial systems. She has extensive experience managing within culturally and economically diverse environments and is able to establish rapport and credibility with diverse constituencies. She is a seasoned executive coach and employs coaching methodology based in concepts of behavioral-based business coaching, mindfulness applications and a philosophy of servant leadership.

Sandra has a master’s degree in public administration with concentration in health administration, an advanced professional certificate in quantitative analysis and computer applications in health planning from New York University as well as Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. She is a Johnson & Johnson Wharton Fellow, Class of 1994 and a Virginia Henderson Fellow of Sigma Theta Tau, a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, a certified Master Executive Coach and an AHIMA approved ICD10 trainer/ambassador.

Personal interests include international travel to cooking schools, and a passion for music and art that has led her to pursuits with the piano, harp and painting. Sandra lives with two golden retrievers and one cat with attitude.
