A skilled researcher and writer, Scott Silberberg is well-versed in health economics, quality improvement and policy analysIs.
Scott joins the HMA Information Services team after serving as a research assistant at Hospital for Special Surgery where he managed data acquisition for clinical and biomechanics projects and served as a liaison with physicians and business subject matter experts. While working in the hospital setting, he gained insights about the relationship between quality and care at the front-end of the healthcare system while simultaneously developing data management and report writing skills.
During his undergraduate and graduate school experiences, Scott fulfilled several internships, worked as a freelance columnist and completed his thesis on the social and economic impacts of the Affordable Care Act in mitigating inefficiencies while fostering more equitable outcomes in the health sector.
He earned a master’s degree in Political Economy from King’s College London and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of St. Andrew’s in Scotland.
