Allie Macdonald is a research associate skilled in qualitative and quantitative research, literature review, data collection and analysis, scientific writing, document design and template creation. She uses these various skills to support HMA colleagues and clients. 

Prior to joining HMA, Allie was an integral member of two public health student-led organizations at the University of Maryland, where she led and contributed to research and outreach in the social determinants of health to local communities in the College Park, MD area. She worked on a variety of projects addressing food and shelter insecurity, socioeconomic disparity, and racial disparity. Additionally, she conducted qualitative and field research and led focus groups to complete her undergraduate thesis on the racial and socioeconomic disparities in medical marijuana.  

Allie has a Bachelor of Science in public health science from the University of Maryland.
