Alona Nenko is an experienced researcher skilled at analyzing data and presenting it in a meaningful way.
Alona began her tenure with HMA as an intern in the New York office. As a research assistant, her primary responsibilities involve gathering data and public documents to update the HMA Information Services website. She is also an editor of the HMA Weekly Roundup publication.
Prior to joining HMA, Alona was an associate research analyst for Corporate Research Group. In this role, she authored in-depth reports on topics such as managed care, health insurance exchanges, Medicaid, and Medicare Advantage. She was an editor of a free daily newsletter and collected and analyzed data for other publications. Alona also conducted phone interviews with professionals in the field and market research for clients.
Alona previously was a researcher with the clinical and mental health research team in the Psychology Department at Ithaca College and presented her work at various academic conferences. She also served as a teacher’s assistant for a statistics course and a psychology of adjustment course.
Alona received her Bachelor of Science degrees in applied psychology and cinema and photography from Ithaca College. She is also fluent in Russian.
Alona is an avid reader and video gamer. She enjoys seeing live music in her free time.
