A skilled researcher and public health specialist, Anjelica Torcivia has experience teaching, conducting data analysis, and managing projects in public health and university settings.

Before joining HMA, she helped develop class content, guide students and assist faculty as a graduate teaching assistant for public health program planning at Columbia University. While there, she also taught breakout sessions and managed asynchronous content via Zoom for students.

Her experience also includes consulting on the creation of new clinical products and services for CVS Health maternity program as well as designing surveys, fostering collaborations and developing business cases all aimed at increasing reach and understanding for products and programs.

Anjelica’s research work has included literatures reviews, qualitative research, interviewing and using Dedoose to analyze transcripts and summarize findings. She earned a Master of Public Health from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in the department of Population and Family with a certificate in Sexuality, Sexual and Reproductive Health and a Bachelor of Science degree in bioengineering from Syracuse University College of Engineering and Computer Science.
