Briana Jacob is a solutions‑driven healthcare leader with more than four years of consulting experience and a strong foundation in financial and operational analysis, medical billing and coding, and process improvement. Known for her collaborative and strategic leadership style, Briana has guided cross‑functional teams and created pathways that improve operational efficiency, increase productivity, enhance outcomes, and strengthen organizational capacity. She leverages her medical billing and coding certifications to support clients with her healthcare operations and revenue integrity expertise.

Before joining Health Management Associates, Briana was a hospital chief executive officer (CEO). In this role, she refined operations to improve efficiency, expand capacity, and modernize business development efforts in alignment with long‑term organizational goals.

Briana’s areas of expertise include substance use disorder and behavioral health program development, facility operations, advocacy, and strategic planning. She has contributed to many state and local advisory councils and boards related to behavioral health. During her tenure as CEO, Briana also served as interim Human Relations director and contracting manager, successfully negotiating union and payer contracts, giving her unique insight into the complex workforce and reimbursement challenges facing healthcare organizations today.

Prior to her executive roles, Briana served as director of business operations at Acadia Healthcare, where she improved revenue cycle processes, reduced outstanding accounts receivable, and drove accounts receivable (A/R) days below industry standards.

Briana earned her Master of Business Administration from Amberton University and has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and English from Oakland University.
