Kyle Murphy is a researcher and process expert with experience in commercial diligence, competitive research, and market strategy. He focuses his work on addressing vulnerable populations’ needs and facilitating innovation in Medicaid. 

Kyle works with The Focus Group, an HMA Company, where he uses his skills to help clients understand opportunities, manage change, and identify commercially viable strategies for growth.

Kyle served as program director for Adaptation Health, a virtual incubator focusing exclusively on driving Medicaid innovation and improving the commercialization of socially impactful ventures for three years before joining The Focus Group.  Prior to that, he served as a business development coordinator for The Idea Village, a New Orleans based nonprofit dedicated to engaging the community to embrace innovation, entrepreneurship, and new thinking. Kyle served in AmeriCorps and worked as an elementary school teacher at a high-needs school and in non-profit operations.

Kyle earned a master’s degree in business administration from Loyola University and bachelor’s degrees in history and political science from the University of New Hampshire.
