Tiffany McKenzie is a resourceful healthcare leader recognized for her exceptional communication, project management, process improvement, and human resource management skills. With a demonstrated ability to lead and manage diverse teams, she adeptly forges strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. As manager of thought leadership, Tiffany guides conversation and develops meaningful approaches to better position HMA as an industry leader and trusted source for solutions to current healthcare needs. 

Prior to joining HMA, Tiffany served as executive support to the president at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. In this role, she managed projects and coordinated strategic plans, budgets, and initiatives. Her leadership ensured the achievement of on-target launches and exceeded patient volumes for the Penn State Health Home Recovery Care program.  She aided in the execution of the strategic communication plan for the medical center and led administrative recruitment, managed board materials, represented the president’s office, and provided technical training to the C-suite. 

As a former patient experience specialist at the medical center, Tiffany served as the key liaison and subject matter expert for the Ambulatory Surgery department and emergency department. She coached staff and physicians to enhance patient-staff communication and overall Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAPHS) scores. She managed temporary personnel, guided volunteers in the Patient and Family Care Department, and led patient experience initiatives aligned with organizational targets. She also collaborated with senior leadership, developed and monitored action plans and quality improvement projects, and contributed directly to enhanced patient satisfaction.  

Tiffany earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in health policy and administration from Pennsylvania State University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time at her family cabin in the Finger Lakes region of New York, thrift-shopping and creatively upcycling items to decorate her home.
