A diversified professional who thrives on solving the most complex questions in health policy, Yamini Narayan is a skilled researcher and policy specialist.
Yamini joins HMA after an impactful series of health care internships and fellowships including serving the BlueCross BlueShield Association, Yale Law School’s Solomon Center for Health Law and Policy, Hilltop Institute, and Urban Institute. Yamini has worked in various areas of domestic health policy, particularly Medicaid, throughout her education and career. She has experience with data collection and analytics, mapping, and developing reports and studies analyzing links and connections in health care and delivery systems.
At HMA, Yamini continues to work with areas of federal policy as well as state and local health care entities. Her focus areas at HMA include COVID-19 planning at response at the state and local level, digital health care, and health equity. She supports key program activities and decision making through methods such as quantitative and qualitative research, strategic planning, workflow design, and data visualization. She thrives on finding solutions that not only benefit the organizations managing and delivering health care, but also advance the health of the populations they serve.
Yamini earned a bachelor’s degree in health administration and policy from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Master of Public Health with a focus on health policy from Yale University.
