Jessica Wu is an early-career health informatics analyst dedicated to developing data-driven solutions that promote equitable access to quality healthcare. Her technical skills include a variety of programming languages, including SQL, R, and Python; data tools like PowerBI and Tableau; and survey platforms like REDCap and Qualtrics.
Before joining HMA full-time, Jessica worked as a data analyst intern, where she contributed to a variety of client and firm projects. Prior to her internship with HMA, Jessica gained experience as a care navigator through AmeriCorps, working at the Delaware Valley Community Health Girard Medical Center, a federally qualified health center (FQHC). She maintained the client database and used REDCap to track patient interactions to maintain the clinic’s Center of Excellence for Opioid Use Disorder designation. She gained experience in behavioral health, working directly with clinic patients with substance abuse disorder to address their social determinants of health (SDOH) needs.
Jessica earned Master of Health Informatics and her bachelor’s degree in cellular and molecular biology from the University of Michigan.
