The Maine Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is in the process of studying payments for services covered by Sections 18, 20, 21, and 29 of the MaineCare Benefits Manual. This project will also inform provider payment rates for the proposed Lifespan program for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).
The Burns & Associates division of Health Management Associates (HMA-Burns) is assisting DHHS with this initiative and has established this website as a repository for study-related materials.
FINAL RECOMMENDED RATE MODELS
Proposed rate models were released for public comment on April 14, 2025. The final recommended rate models incorporate a number of changes made in response to these comments.
