Ainsley Ramsey is an actuarial consultant with experience in healthcare reform consulting and project management.
In her role with HMA, Ainsley creates clear and dynamic analyses, models, and dashboards that support the improvement of publicly funded healthcare programs and provides valuable recommendations for the improvement of clients’ programs and initiatives.
Prior to joining HMA, Ainsley was a senior consultant with Optumas. In this role, she provided actuarial consulting to government healthcare programs and health plans, including Medicaid managed care rate setting, risk adjustment, repricing, and brick modeling. She also provided policy and strategy consulting, which included health plan care management (CM) and utilization management (UM) policy writing, home and community-based services (HCBS) waiver program implementation support, and technical assistance related to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance.
Ainsley has a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in actuarial science from Arizona State University and is currently pursuing accreditation from the Society of Actuaries.
