Ann-Marie Price is a seasoned healthcare expert with more than 20 years of experience spanning policy development and implementation, government and community affairs, and strategic and operational administration in hospitals, clinics, federally qualified health centers, managed healthcare plans, and telemedicine. 

Prior to joining HMA, Ann-Marie was vice president of strategic initiatives at Access TeleCare, the nation’s largest telemedicine provider. In this role, she led the Project Management Office (PMO) through the development of strategic plans and tools for 30 clinical and operational integration projects; provided customized solutions and one-on-one coaching for eight project leaders; and led collaborations of 15 cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with the company’s vision and priorities. She also facilitated expansion of the company’s highest revenue-generating service line to become a stand-alone business unit and developed a concierge-style onboarding experience for providers. 

Ann-Marie also served in leadership roles at Baylor Scott & White Health. As director of government and community affairs, she served as an advisor to executive leaders and regional hospital presidents for business relationships and professional organization collaborations with city and county elected officials, chambers of commerce, and economic development corporations across the state. She also served as the system liaison that partnered with businesses to customize healthcare solutions that promote and sustain good health.  

In her previous role as director of project management and community development, Ann-Marie managed more than 50 projects and increased system presence in the market by over 300% by leading the operational strategy to build and operate four new hospitals and 25 new clinics throughout the five-county Austin/Round Rock region. She increased community benefit funding in the region by 200%, made funding recommendations to leadership and negotiated with individuals and groups internally and externally to ensure priorities coordination. She also served as liaison to the 20-member regional board of directors. 

Ann-Marie is a versatile leader in public, private, and non-profit sectors that ensures top-level talent performance achieves key organizational priorities. She is a trusted brand-management advisor and liaison that also enjoys data analysis, report-writing, and public results presentation. 

Ann-Marie has a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Brown University and a master’s degree in sociology from the University of Texas at Austin.
