Brittany Bickford works with The Focus Group, an HMA Company, where she serves as a strategist and expert researcher with over 10 years’ experience leading local and national evaluation, data analysis, performance management, and public health programs. 

Brittany is driven by a passion for using data to develop innovative strategies that improve the health of vulnerable populations. Prior to joining The Focus Group, she was a performance management and data specialist for the City of New Orleans for about eight years. Brittany worked at the National Network of Public Health Institutes where she led the development of project proposals; oversaw national mixed methods evaluations funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation; planned for, collected, analyzed, and communicated quantitative and qualitative data findings for broad audiences; lead institutional review board preparation and submission; and managed projects and budgets. Prior to her public health career, she served as a Community Health Peace Corps volunteer in Swaziland.

Brittany earned her master’s degree in public health from Tulane University and her bachelor’s degree in cultural anthropology from Michigan State University.
