Jason Pettry is a dedicated healthcare executive with over 10 years of experience with the Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). Jason also has experience in operations, strategy, state and federal regulatory compliance, Dual Eligible, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, Part D, and pharmacy benefit management (PBM). He is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and he has a demonstrated track record of increasing a program’s operational and financial efficiency.

Before joining Health Management Associates, Jason worked for Empath Health’s Suncoast PACE, Inc. As interim vice president of PACE and elder services, he had operational, fiscal, public policy and advocacy oversight for the PACE program, two start-up PACE programs in neighboring counties, and a community adult day care center.

Jason expanded PACE services to four new service areas, executing the CMS application, coordinating with the consulting company, and providing end-to-end deliverables for two simultaneous expansion projects. As part of the expansion, he developed the overall business and clinical operations policies as well as the business, strategic and growth strategies. He also provided strategic input for the development of program roadmaps, gap analyses, key performance indicators and timelines for PACE and Elder Services expansion projects.

Jason also has valuable regulatory experience, having successfully facilitated the completion of multiple Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services federal audits, Medicare Part D Audits, and the submission of RAPS data for risk scoring to ensure successful risk adjustment activities that resulted in increased risk adjustment payments to the MAPDP.

Prior to serving as the interim vice president, Jason was the PACE executive director. In this role he had operational and fiscal oversight and was responsible for developing cost savings initiatives and revenue generating strategies. During this time, the program successfully managed the COVID-19 pandemic and completed AHCA surveys, including Adult Day Center licensure and State Readiness Review. Jason also has held the positions of operations director, operations manager, contracts specialist, Medicare Part D analyst and senior accounting team specialist.

Jason earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of South Florida and his associate’s degree from St. Petersburg College. He received his Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from SigmaWay, LLC, and he is a 2024 master of business administration candidate with Southern New Hampshire University.

When he’s not working, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife and son, going to theme parks and golfing.
