Kaya Tith is a senior consultant with over a decade of experience working in the fields of maternal and child health, community-based health services, and prevention and early intervention. Her expertise includes implementing system changes aimed at increasing services and supports for under-resourced communities and designing, facilitating, and project managing strategic planning and implementation processes. 

Prior to joining HMA, Kaya held several roles with increasing responsibilities at First 5 Los Angeles (LA). As a senior strategist, she designed and executed a strategic planning process to refine elements for greater clarity and understanding of shared goals and outcomes. She instituted an organization-wide business planning and resource forecasting process that translated strategic plan strategies into day-to-day business operations and designed and facilitated learning exchanges across issue areas to improve collaboration. 

As a strategic plan project manager, Kaya executed a strategic planning process, leading the creation of a simplified and streamlined roadmap to achieve organizational goals and outcomes. She also chaired a cross-functional work group to refine organizational values, incorporating diversity, equity, and inclusion language and positioning. In addition to these achievements, she designed and implemented a project tracking dashboard tailored for strategic planning and implementation processes. She also served in the roles of operational excellence manager and program officer. 

Kaya was also the community health manager at Kaiser Permanente, overseeing design, implementation, and management of local medical service area community health programs. 

Kaya has a Master of Science in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in physiological sciences from the University of California, Los Angeles.
